Privacy Policy – Schnauz

Schnauz is a card game (31 / Schwimmen / Knack). This policy describes data processed by the app and its integrated services. We do not sell personal data. Optional rewarded ads are loaded only after the user explicitly requests one.

Data we process

• Email address – only when you secure your account, for passwordless login and restoring progress on a new device.
• Sign in with Apple – Apple's app-specific identifier, an optional shared or relay email address, and an encrypted token for sign-in, restoration and revocation.
• Display name and profile photo – optional and visible to other players.
• Friend code, friends and online status – to provide social features.
• Game statistics and rank – wins, matches and ranking data.
• Moderation data – blocked or reported players and the report reason.
• Advertising and consent data – when you use an optional rewarded ad, Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform may process your IP address (to estimate general location), device or advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, diagnostics and performance data. The exact processing depends on your consent, iOS settings and region.

Schnauz does not access precise location or contacts. The iOS advertising identifier is used only after App Tracking Transparency permission. Bottle caps are in-game currency only, have no real-world value and cannot be paid out.

Purposes

We use data to operate accounts, device sync, friends, multiplayer, leaderboards and abuse prevention. Advertising data is also used to deliver, limit and measure optional ads and, only with the required permission, to personalize them.

Third-party processing

• Oracle Cloud: hosts the Schnauz server and account data.
• Resend: processes an email address only to deliver login codes.
• Apple: verifies Sign in with Apple and processes access revocation.
• Google AdMob / User Messaging Platform: manages consent and delivers and measures optional rewarded ads. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data for advertising.

Consent and withdrawal

Required privacy choices are requested through Google's User Messaging Platform. Where required in your region, you can change them at any time under Settings → Manage privacy options. You can separately change iOS tracking permission in iOS Settings. Declining does not restrict the card game, though ads may be unavailable or limited.

Reporting an ad

Use Settings → Report an inappropriate ad to report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate ad. Please attach a screenshot if possible.

User content and moderation

Multiplayer includes chat. Objectionable terms are filtered, and you can report and block players. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.

Retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account in the app under Settings → Account → Permanently delete account. This removes Apple and email links, friend code, name, photo, statistics, rank and friend relationships from our server and revokes a linked Apple access token. UMP consent choices are stored on the device. Google's policies and privacy tools apply to advertising data processed by Google.

Children

The app is not directed to children and is rated 13+ because of simulated wagering with virtual currency. Ad content is technically limited to Google's “Teen” content rating or lower. Further age-dependent personalization is only used in accordance with applicable law.
